Toyota Motors has appointed Matt Harrison as the new president and chief executive officer of its European division, Toyota Motor Europe.
In his new role, Harrison will work towards achieving the firm’s objective of selling 1.4 million vehicles by 2025 and launch at least 10 more electric vehicle models.
According to media reports, Harrison joined the company in 2000 and has served in various positions with Toyota across the European region. His most recent role was vice-president. He will replace Johan Van Zyl who has resigned from the position.
