Toyota Kirloskar Motor has resumed partial operations at its Bidadi plants in the southern state of Karnataka. 

 

The workforce has been limited to 50pc and the employees will be given training regarding the new facilities and processes. Strict social distancing norms will be followed at the operational facilities, in accordance with the government rules. 

The company would first focus to meet the demand and complete pending orders which could not be met during the non-production days when the company performed maintenance at the units due to lockdown announced in the state. 

 

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has temporarily shut production from April 26 to May 14. The company’s Bidadi plants have a combined annual capacity of 310,000 units.
