Structural steel supplier Triple-S Holdings has acquired San-Antonio, Texas-based Alamo Iron Works for an undisclosed amount.
Houston, Texas-headquartered Triple-S will add Alamo’s San Antonio, Brownsville, and Pharr, Texas locations to its distribution network that consists of around 40 centers across the US, Canada, and Colombia, according to media reports.
Alamo is a privately held steel distribution company founded over 140 years ago, while Triple-S supplies structural steel to the western and south-central US markets through its service centers.
