The weekly Davis Index for DKP scrap (equivalent to auto bundles) in Turkey increased by TRY188/mt to TRY4,041/mt ($484/mt) delivered on Monday on higher prices for imported material and steel products.
Colakoglu Metalurji, Diler Demir Celik, and Kroman raised their purchase prices for DKP grade on May 16 by TRY200/mt to TRY4,225/mt delivered, TRY3,970/mt delivered, and TRY4,010/mt delivered, respectively.
Erdemir and Isdemir lifted their purchase prices for the grade by the same amount to TRY4,285/mt delivered and TRY4,230/mt delivered, respectively, today.
Kardemir increased its purchase price for DKP grade by TRY200/mt to TRY4,330/mt delivered on May 11.
Shipbreaking scrap in the Izmir region went up by $5/mt to $460/mt delivered over the week amid better demand for it.
