Turkey road motor vehicle registrations in October rose by 68.1pc to 114,426 units compared with 68,069 units in the same month last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).

 

The country’s road motor vehicle registration increased in October by 8.2pc from the previous month, TurkStat reported. 

 

In the first 10 months of the year, Turkey’s number of registered vehicles rose by 57.5pc to 850,969 units from 540,469 units in the same 10-month period in 2019. 

 

Its number of withdrawn motor vehicles last month was down by 92.4pc to 3,576 units from 46,764 units in October 2019. In January-October, Turkey’s number of withdrawn motor vehicles fell by 84.4pc to 39,571 units from 253,280 units during the same prior-yera period.
