Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

The seasonally adjusted construction confidence index in Turkey rose by 4.7pc in July to 86.3 compared to June’s 82.4, according to Turkeys’ Statistical Institute (TUIK). The services sector increased by 5.8pc to 114.8 as retail trade rose by 3.7pc in July to 109.6 compared to June. 

 

For the construction confidence index, the current order books index rose by 3.3pc to 78.8 in July as total employment expectation over the next three months index rose by 5.9pc to 93.9, both compared to June figures. 

 

The price expectations index climbed to 121.3 as the building activity index rose to 86.8pc in July. About 46.1pc of businesses surveyed indicated one factor limiting their activities, with financial constraints the most prominent, as 53.9pc indicated no evident obstacles in July.
