Turkish steelmaker Koc Metalurji will temporary suspend operations on April 7 as conditions in the steel products market have become challenging amid the COVID-19 crisis, Davis Index has learned.
The company intends to halt production for a month, but noted the shutdown period could be extended three months, depending on progress made containing the pandemic and whether or not the market improves.
