Eternity Technologies has opened its first manufacturing facility in the US to produce lead-acid batteries for the forklift market.
The plant, based in Sherman, Texas, has the capacity to produce more than 240,000 cells per year. The company plans to open regional centers across the US to assemble these cells into specific batteries, which will include BCI 2-volt batteries to be sold in the US, Mexico, and Canada, the company said on Nov 28.
According to media reports, the Ras Al Khaimah headquartered batteries maker also plans to add products for the solar market in 2021.
