Ukraine auto production in February 2021 stood at 503 units, 16.7pc down as compared to 604 units in the previous month (Jan 2021) but up by 123.6pc from 225 units during the same month in 2020, according to data released by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).
Of the total February production, passenger car output fell by 22pc to 449 units from 576 units in the prior month but grew by 207.5pc as compared to 146 units in the year before, while bus production stood at 54 units, up by 125pc from the prior month but down by 29.9pc as compared to the same month in 2020.
Jan-Feb output
In the first two months of the year (Jan-Feb, 2021), Ukraine’s auto output rose by 2.8pc to 1,107 units as compared to 1,077 units in the prior-year period.
In the Jan-Feb period, the country’s passenger car production grew by 9.9pc to 1,025 units from 933 units during the same period in the preceding year, while bus output fell by 41.8pc to 78 units as compared to 134 units in the prior-year period.
