Ukraine’s industrial production in November declined by 0.3pc without calendar adjustments from the prior year, according to media reports citing data released by Ukrainian State Statistics Service. The country’s industrial output fell by 5pc in October.
The decline of industrial output slowed down in November driven by the increase in the production of metal and iron ore to meet rising demands.
The country’s manufacturing output in November declined by 3.4pc, while mining output increased by 1.8pc from the same month in the previous year.
Ukraine’s metallurgy and finished metal product output in November rose by 8.3pc as compared to the preceding year, while iron ore mining in November grew by 10.6pcpc from the year prior.
Ukraine’s industrial production in the first eleven months of the year (Jan-Nov, 2020) declined by 6.2pc as compared to the prior-year period.
In the Jan-Nov period, the country’s metallurgy and finished metal products production dropped by 10.2pc, while iron ore mining output fell by 4.2pc as compared to the same period in 2019.
