Ukraine’s industrial production in September slowed down by 4.4pc from the prior year, according to media reports quoting the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine. In August, the industrial output had decreased by 5.3pc from the same month in prior-year.

 

At the same time, with the adjustment for the effect of calendar days, the decline in industrial production in September was 0.4pc as compared to 4.2pc in August.

 

Ukraine’s metallurgy and finished metal product output in September fell by 7.6pc, while iron ore mining dropped by 8.4pc from the prior year.

 

In the Jan-Sep period, the country’s industrial production fell by 7pc from the prior-year period. In the first nine months, metallurgy and finished metal products output and iron ore mining declined by 12.6pc and 5.8pc, respectively, from the prior-year period.

 

Ukraine’s industrial production declined by 4.2pc in July, by 5.6pc in June, by 12.2pc in May, by 16.2pc in April, by 7.7pc in March, by 1.5pc in February, and by 5.1pc in January.
