The US Department of Commerce has revised the final antidumping duty (AD) on circular welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube exported from Turkey during the period of review (POR) May 1, 2017, through April 30, 2018.

In a report published on Jun 21, Commerce stated that the CIT’s final judgment is not in harmony with the department’s final results and it has therefore revised the antidumping margins assigned to two Turkish companies.

Based on the ruling, Commerce has made changes to the final AD duty margin on Borusan Istikbal Ticaret and Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi to 8.40pc from 9.99pc in January.

The department has instructed the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to continue to collect cash deposits at the rate previously established for Borusan.
