The US Department of Commerce published its finalized anti-dumping duties and cash deposit requirements on aluminum foil and common alloy aluminum sheets from China.

On May 22, Commerce had imposed a duty of 73.66pc and 49.85pc on aluminum foil and sheet, respectively along with the cash deposits required from the exporters.

The agency, in its final ruling on Thursday, modified its cash deposit requirements and directed US Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of all shipments on all commodities produced or exported by Shanghai Huafon Aluminium Corporation and withdrawn from the warehouse for liquidation.
