The US Department of Commerce has determined that exporters of aluminum foil from China made sales at less-than-fair value during the period of review (POR), November 2, 2017-March 31, 2019.
In its final results, to be published on Feb 25, Commerce assigned antidumping (AD) duties on 11 companies ranging from 23.62pc to 47.57pc. The China-wide rate will continue to be assessed at 105.8pc since none of the parties requested a review.
Commerce will instruct US Customs and Border Protection to assess antidumping duties on all entries of subject merchandise during the POR and collect equivalent cash deposits from the producers.
