The US Department of Commerce has determined final anti-dumping duties (AD) on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico.
In a notification published on Jul 30, the department indicated that some producers or exporters from the country sold the material at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) from October 1, 2018, to September 30, 2019.
Commerce has subsequently levied a final AD margin of 9.82pc on Deacero, Talleres y Aceros, and Ternium Mexico.
Upon publication of the final results, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
