The US Department of Commerce has determined the final anti-dumping duties (AD) on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from Korea and Ukraine.
In a notification published Jul 2, Commerce stated that imports of the subject merchandise from both countries are being, or are likely to be, sold in the US at less than fair value (LTFV) during the period of review (POR) from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020.
The department has therefore issued a final AD margin of 23.75pc on Interpipe Ukraine, Interpipe Niznedneprovksy Tube Rolling Plant and Interpipe Niko Tube and 4.48pc on Korea’s IJIN Steel. Apart from these companies, the department has also levied an all others margin equal to the companies reviewed.
Commerce intends to instruct US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to collect cash deposits equal to AD margin for the companies listed. CBP will also be instructed to continue the suspension of liquidation of all entries of seamless pipe from Ukraine entered or withdrawn on or after February 10, 2021.
