The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on certain corrosion-resistant steel products from South Korea.
In a notification published on July 30, Commerce indicated that some South Korean producers or exporters sold the subject merchandise at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020.
Commerce has therefore levied a preliminary AD of 0.59pc on Dongkuk Steel Mill, KG Dongbu Steel, Dongbu Incheon Steel, POSCO, POSCO Daewoo, POSCO International, and POSCO Casted and Color Steel. Hyundai Steel, however, received a preliminary estimated weighted-average dumping margin of zero.
Upon publication of the notice of final results of this review, CBP will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
