The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined that four exporters of large power transformers (60MW) from South Korea made sales at less-than-fair-value.
The period of review (POR) for this investigation is August 1, 2018, through July 31, 2019. Accordingly, Commerce has assigned an antidumping (AD) margin of 52.75pc to Hyosung Heavy Industries, Hyundai Electric, Iljin Electric, and Iljin.
Upon completion of the review and publishing its final results, Commerce will instruct US Customs and Border Protection to assess AD duties on all entries of the material from the parties involved during the POR and collect equivalent cash deposits.
