The US Department of Commerce has determined final antidumping duties (AD) on utility-scale wind towers from Spain.

In a notification published on Aug 10, Commerce indicated that some Spanish producers or exporters sold the subject merchandise at less than the fair value.

As a result of its investigation, the department has therefore issued a final AD margin of 73pc on Vestas Eolica, Acciona Windpower, Gamesa Energy Transmission, Haizea Wind Group, Kuzar Systems, and Windar Renovables. Commerce has also levied an all others margin that is equal to these companies.

Upon publication of the final results, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication
