The US Department of Commerce (Commerce) has implicated 52 Chinese companies for exporting aluminum extrusions below average prices into the US between May 1, 2018 and April 30, 2019.

According to Commerce’s preliminary findings, none of the companies are eligible for separate rates and will, therefore, be subject to the China-wide entity rate of 86.01pc.

The department began its administrative review of the antidumping (AD) order on July 15, 2019, initially identifying 257 companies. Upon removing 205 of them, 52 remain subject to the final review process. It has not determined the AD cash deposits as yet, but has indicated that the cash deposits will be applicable to all aluminum extrusions that are shipped to the US from China.
