The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel products from Japan.
In a notification published on Jul 26, Commerce indicated that the products exported by Toyo Kohan Company were sold at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) May 1, 2019, to April 30, 2020.
Commerce has therefore levied a preliminary AD of 7.21pc on the company.
Upon publication of the notice of final results of this review, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
