The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on steel propane cylinders from Thai producer, Sahamitr Pressure Container.
In a notification published on Aug 27, the department indicated that the company sold the material at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) from December 27, 2018, to July 31, 2020.
Commerce has therefore imposed a preliminary AD of 14.11pc on Sahamitr Pressure Container.
Upon publication of the final results, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
