The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on circular welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube products from Tukey.
In a notification published on Jul 30, Commerce indicated that some producers or exporters from the country sold the material at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) from May 1, 2019, to April 30, 2020.
The department has therefore imposed a preliminary AD of 26.22pc on Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi, Borusan Istikbal, Borusan Holding, Borusan Mannesmann Yatirim Holding, Kale Baglanti Teknolojileri San, Kale Baglann Teknolojileri San and Noksel Celik Boru Sanayi.
Upon publication of the final results, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
