The US Department of Commerce has determined final antidumping duties (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on metal lockers and parts imported from China.
Commerce indicated in a notification on Aug 16 that some producers or exporters from the country sold the materials at less than fair value and also received unfair subsidies on the products.
The department has therefore levied a final AD margin of 21.25pc and a cash deposit rate of 10.71pc on 11 exporters and 322.25pc and 311.71pc, respectively, on the China-wide entity.
Commerce has also initiated a CVD of 131.51pc on Changshu Taron Machinery Equipment, Guangdong Yuhua Building Materials, Jiangsu Tongrun Tool Cabinet, Luoyang Mas Younger Office Furniture, Luoyang Mas Younger Export and Import, Luoyang Shidiu Import and Export, Suzhou Yuanda Commercial Products, Winnsen Industry, and Xiamen Headleader Technology along with a CVD of 24.66pc on Zhejiang Xingyi Metal Products and all others.
