The US Department of Commerce has determined that South Korean exporters made sales of circular welded non-alloy steel pipe (CWP) to the US at less-than-fair-value during the period of review (POR), November 1, 2017, to October 31, 2018.
Commerce assigned antidumping (AD) margins on shipments by Husteel and Nexsteel at 4.92pc and 27.28pc, respectively, in an order published on Nov 6. The rest of the manufacturers under this administrative review were charged with an all-others rate of 21.01pc.
The agency will direct US Customs and Border Protection to assess AD margins on the subject matter shipped during the POR within the next 15 days and collect cash deposits equivalent to the assessed rates from the suppliers.
