The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on certain cold-rolled steel flat products from the United Kingdom.
In a notification on Jul 1, Commerce indicated that the products exported by Liberty Performance Steels of the UK were sold at less than the fair value during the period of review (POR) September 1, 2019, to August 31, 2020. Commerce has therefore levied a preliminary AD of 8.65pc on the company.
Upon publication of the notice of final results of this review, Customs Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
