Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

The US Department of Commerce has preliminarily determined antidumping duties (AD) on carbon steel flanges from Spain.

In a notification published on Jun 30, Commerce indicated that the products exported by some Spanish companies were sold at less than fair value during the period of review (POR) June 1, 2019, to May 31, 2020.

As a result of its investigation, Commerce has levied a preliminary AD of 6.43pc on ULMA Forja, S.Coop, Aleaciones De Metales Sinterizados, Central Y Almacenes, Farina Group Spain, Friedrich Geldbach Gmbh, Grupo Cunado, Transglory and Tubacero.

Upon publication of the notice of final results of this review, Customs Border Protection (CBP) will be instructed to collect a cash deposit equal to the AD margin for shipments of the subject merchandise entered or withdrawn on or after the date of publication.
