The US Department of Commerce has levied countervailing duties (CVD) on prestressed concrete (PC) steel wire from Turkey, imported by the US.
In an order slated for publication on September 21, Commerce has preliminarily determined that countervailable subsidies were provided to two PC steel wire producers from Turkey between January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019. Commerce has also estimated a weighted-average CVD rate for all other exporters from the country.
The agency will direct the US Border and Customs Protection to suspend liquidation of all entries of the subject merchandise and collect a cash deposit equal to the rates indicated below.
