The company’s stainless-steel longs manufacturing will benefit from better cutting technology and higher productivity. The cut-to-length area will be fully equipped with in-line straightener and cold shear.
Plant maintenance will also be enhanced by systematic management of the cut scrap at the end of the process along with work being performed on the equipment with lower shutdown periods. Viraj Profiles selected Danieli services and equipment due to higher productivity, quality cutting abilities, and minimum replacement time.
Viraj produces a wide range of products that are being exported to 90 countries serving approximately 1300 customers globally. Viraj exports about 90pc of its production.
