Chinese smart electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng expects its Q4 2020 deliveries to grow by more than 200pc to 10,000 vehicles compared to the same quarter last year. 

 

The manufacturer expects its revenue increase by 2.43 times to RMB2.2bn ($334mn) up in Q4 on a annual basis. In the third quarter of this year, vehicle deliveries almost tripled to 8,578 units compared to 2,345 units sold in Q3 2019 and up by 165.7pc over 3,228 units in Q2 2020. In October alone, deliveries grew doubled to 3,040 units from the same month in 2019. 

 

XPeng’s Q3 2020 revenue from vehicle sales rose to RMB1,898mn, compared with RMB398.8mn in Q3 2019. The firm’s net loss in the third quarter of the year was RMB1.14bn from RMB776.3mn in Q3 2019.
