Stainless steel producer, Acerinox expects its EBITDA in Q3 2021 to improve compared to Q2 2021 mainly because of increasing demand in both stainless steel and high-performance alloy division.
In H1 2021, the company’s total melt shop production of stainless steel and high-performance alloy division grew by 29pc to 1.3mn mt compared to the same period in 2020. Its stainless steel output increased by 28pc and its high-performance alloy steel output rose by 6pc in the first half of the year.
Acerinox’s revenue rose by 32pc in H1 2021 to €3bn ($3.5bn) compared to the same half in 2020. Its EBITDA in the first six months of the year surged by 130pc to €378mn compared to the same months last year.
