Bonab Steel Industry Complex plans to boost billet production to 450,000mt and finished product to 750,000mt in the Iranian year ending March 20, 2021, according to South East Asia Iron and Steel Institute (Seaisi). The company also targets to increase its exports to 150,000mt.
The company produced 493,000mt merchant steel production in the Iranian year ended March 19, 2020, an increase of 45pc from a year ago. Exports were at 30,000mt.
Bonab Steel Industry Complex has two melting and casting units with a nominal annual capacity of 600,000mt. The company’s
rolling plants consists of 7 lines with the capability to manufacture ribbed steel bar, alloy steel and different types of beams, channels and angles.
