Byelorussian Steel Work’ (BSW) export of seamless pipes and hose wire to Italy grew by 134pc to $12mn in the first four months of the year.
BSW is now looking at increasing its shipments and expanding its sales to Italy. At a recently held meeting hosted by Sergei Gunko, the first deputy minister of the Belarusian industrial delegation, and Dmitry Korchik the general director of OJSC BMZ and many companies from Northern Italy, the company signed large agreements for the sale of seamless pipes and round rolled products for the automotive industry in 2022.
The meeting concluded with BSW getting help from a manufacturing unit to develop its Minsk Bearing plant in one agreement and it supplying valves to another construction company. Names of both Italian companies have not been mentioned.
