The Canadian Border Service Agency has made a preliminary determination of dumping concerning sucker rods originating from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
Any sucker rods released from customs on or after December 30, 2019 will have provincial duties applied to them. The estimated dumping margins from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico are 30.5pc, 27.3pc and 48.9pc, respectively.
The CBSA’s dumping determination was based on subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act.
