China’s crude steel output in mid-April was 19.52mn mt, the output of pig iron was 17.82mn mt and production of steel 18.77mn mt, according to China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In mid-April steel stock of iron and steel enterprises was 17.42mn mt, a drop by 2.96pc from the previous 10 days and by 82.75pc from beginning of the year.
