Copper Lake Resources has begun drilling at its Marshall Lake copper-zinc project’s Billiton Main Zone, located in northeastern Thunderbay, Ontario.
According to a media statement by the Canadian explorer on Tuesday, it has tasked Niigaani Drilling from Gull Bay, Ontario to conduct its autumn drill program, which will follow up on high-grade intercepts to a depth of 1.2kms. The activity is expected to be concluded in three weeks and preliminary inferred mineral reserves will follow.
The Billiton Main Zone holds approximately 1.17mn mt of mineral deposits, with 0.82pc copper, 2.71pc zinc, and another 300,000mt graded at 1.45pc copper and 4.76pc zinc.
