Billet prices fell in Raipur after some sellers accepter lower bids.
The daily Davis Index for billet in Raipur declined by Rs150/mt ($2/mt) to Rs43,150/mt ($582/mt) ex-works on Friday. Some billet sellers reportedly sold material at Rs43,100/mt in the first half of the day.
Pellet sponge prices were at Rs31,000/mt ($419/mt) ex-works Raipur. The daily index for rebar remained unchanged at Rs45,200/mt ($610/mt) ex-works Raipur amid moderate demand.
In Mumbai, the daily index for billet declined by Rs250/mt to Rs45,250/mt ex-works, while the index for rebar was flat at Rs49,700/mt ex-works.
In Mandi Gobindgarh, the daily index for ingot remained unchanged at Rs45,600/mt ex-works.
