The weekly Davis Index for ADC 12 settled at Rs136,965/mt, up by Rs4,215/mt ($57.06/mt) from Rs132,750/mt ex-works Mumbai producer from the prior week. Die-casters near Mumbai continued to pay Rs135,000/mt for ADC 12 as per the price contract for October.
The weekly Index for LM6 rose by Rs3,960/mt to settle at Rs155,960/mt from Rs152,000/mt ex-works Mumbai producer from the prior week as some large producers in Mumbai revised prices amid sustained demand for alloys and a rise in the scrap prices.
