Linyi Yichen’s SS plant to be operational in Oct
China-based Linyi Yichen Nickel-Chromium Alloy expects its 500,000mt stainless steel (SS) materials project to be operational by the end of October. The project, situated in Beijing, employs an advanced and mature rotary kiln-mine furnace (RKEF) process with technology from Qiyang Wancheng. The nickel content of the product will be 9.5-11pc. The plant’s production cost ratio is expected to be 40pc less than traditional processes. The project will comply with China’s GBT2509-2010 standard.
