Steel tube manufacturing company JTL Infra has recently acquired ready-to-use manufacturing unit M/s. Jagan Industries, a promoter group entity located at Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab, on lease basis with an annual installed capacity of 0.1mn mt, as per recent press release.
Dhruva Singla, CFO, JTL Infra said the company is proceeding towards 0.5mn mt annual installed capacity across India shortly.
The newly acquired manufacturing facilities at Mandi Gobindgarh will look to expand its market share in Northern region. The company is also targeting to double its operations soon. The company has taken over this unit on lease, rather than wait for statutory approvals for assets purchase in order to cater to the rising demand on an immediate basis.
JTL infra has completed the first phase of greenfield project at Mangaon in Maharashtra, with an installed capacity of 0.1mn mt and will soon commission the second phase with same capacity which is in advanced stage.
GI pipes under Jal Jeevan Mission:
JTL infra has successfully completed supplies of close to 2,200mt GI pipes to Himachal Pradesh under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), in addition to other JJM orders in progress. JJM is a government infra project worth $50 billion.
JTL Infra manufactures steel tubes in Punjab and Maharashtra. The company produces GI pipes, MS Black, pipes, hollow sections, and solar structures.
