Kamdhenu has launched a new grade of construction rebar, a power steel alloy called the PAS10000.
PAS10000 contains the qualities and strength needed for construction in the Indian market, a company statement on Tuesday claimed.
The design allows for a 360-degree locking-in with concrete, which allows for strength of up to 10,000 PSI – hence the name – power alloy steel (PAS)10000.
Kamdhenu is also claiming better rust-proof qualities and for the rebar to bear 28pc more weight than the current market standard.
