Indian government enterprise KIOCL recorded pellet production of 511,000mt in Q1 of FY 2020 as against the target of 490,000mt.
Company sales was recorded at 568,000mt as against the target of 450,000mt in the quarter. It exported 521,000mt and rest 47,000mt was sold in the domestic market. Its sales volume increased by 126pc.
The company claims that despite the prolonged lockdown in India during the quarter due to COVID-19 pandemic, they could overcome the hindrances by reorganizing the requirements to cope with the situation.
