China’s crude steel output in March was 234.45mn mt, an increase of 1.2pc from the previous year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Crude steel production in Hebei province remained stable. The output in Hubei, however, declined amid COVID-19. Production in Guangdong and Jiangsu also declined in March.
