Japanese firm Mitsui has announced management changes effective from July 1, which will see Shinsuke Kitagawa become president and chief executive officer of Mitsui Global Strategy Studies Institute.

 

Kitagwa will also continue his duties as senior executive managing officer of the company. Previously, he served as Mitsui India’s director and chairperson. 

 

Koji Nagatomi will remain in his role as executive managing officer and deputy chief operating officer of Mitsui’s Asia Pacific business unit, but he also becomes Mitsuit India’s chairperson. 

 

In addition to his duties as managing officer, Yumi Yamaguchi is the company’s new deputy chief strategy officer and deputy digital information officer. Yamaguchi also served as chief executive officer of Mitsui Global Strategy Studies Institute. 

 

Yoshihiro Moriya becomes Mitsui Global Strategic Studies Institute’s executive vice president after having been the internal auditor of the company’s internal auditing division.
