MMK increased its shipment of rolled steel production in specialized containers by 220pc to 745,500mt last year compared to 2019.
The company has been using specialized containers to protect the metal products from any mechanical damage during transportation, which improves the company’s customer service levels, it said in a statement. Currently the company is only shipping out coils in these containers.
In April, MMK expects that it shipped out 16pc of the total coil shipment in these specialized containers and expects these kind of shipments to increase to 20pc of the total deliveries.
