Monnet Ispat and Energy has restarted operations at its Raipur manufacturing facility from May 15, 2020. The company had suspended operation at Raipur and Raigarh plants after a nation-wide lockdown declared by the government of India to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The company began activities at its integrated steel manufacturing plant in Raigarh from May 2 as reported by Davis Index.
Monnet Ispat & Energy was taken over in September 2018 by Aion investment and JSW Steel. The company has an installed capacity of 1.75mn mt which produces rebars, structures and HR plates.
