Japanese carmaker Nissan’s China division produced 352,352 units in Q1 2021, bringing the total passenger and light vehicle business up by 70.6pc from the same quarter last year.
The company has also crossed the cumulative sales milestone of 500,000 units of the e-Power model in Japan, according to a statement on Wednesday. Nissan will continue to boost its electric vehicle and e-Power sales in line with its carbon-neutrality goal for 2050, the company indicated.
