Panoro Minerals and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) are investing in an exploration project in South Peru.
The exploration at the Humamantata Project is slated for completion before Q4 2020 and will be entirely funded by JOGMEC, as per the joint venture agreement it signed in 2018.
The planned exploration is comprised of geological mapping over previously identified areas, a geochemistry survey that includes collecting around 1,200 rock samples, 2D and 3D geophysics, and exploration drilling, which is expected by Q3 2020 when permits have been secured.
Panoro will consult the local community, including landowners, through the first quarter of 2020, after which it will execute its exploration.
