Nevada Copper will restart production at its Pumpkin Hollow Underground Mine next month.
In a news release, the company said it will reopen its mill during the middle of August, and that initial ore output will derive from existing stockpiles and new development. The company will begin ore hoisting from its main shaft during Q4, which is also when it will return to full production capacity.
The company noted that vent shaft hoist rates will reach 1,000t (907mt) a day, which is 300t higher than its original target.
Pumpkin Hollow has the capacity to produce 29,484mt of copper equivalent a year.
