European lead and zinc recycler, Recylex decided to separate its chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman functions after the resignation of Sebastian Rudow, who held both these positions.
The company has appointed Jacky Gofflot as CEO and Thomas Hüser as chairman of the board, effective Mar 1, according to a recent media statement.
Gofflot, who joined the France-based recycler in April 2020 to manage its battery-breaking sites, said that as the new CEO, he would continue to implement the business strategy initiated by Rudow. An industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience, Gofflot has worked with several companies in various capacities in the non-ferrous metals recycling business.
Hüser has worked extensively in the energy and industrial sector and is a public affairs and economics expert, Recylex noted.
